| Preventative
Breast Heatlh
Joanna
Helms, Herbalist
The US
Preventative Services Task Force recently changed their
recommendations regarding screening mammography. The
Department of Health and Human Services supported the
research review, of the independent panel of experts, to
utilize women’s mammography testing every two years
between the age of 50 and 74. The new recommendation is
quite different from the original every year for the
lifetime of a woman starting at age 40. The new
guidelines have been met with confusion and frustration.
In this workshop, we will confront the risks associated
with breast disorders; as well as, review the
demographic information involved with breast health and
illness. Please join Joanna on a journey to familiarize
yourselves with positive healthy preventative tools that
support our fabulous breasts. The discussion will cover:
medicinal herbs, massage techniques, and supplements.
